Stresses...

I feel as if I am drowning in the list of chores that has my name on it.  I can't think straight!  It is freezing outside!!!  I slipped on my flip flops to run the kids to school in my pajamas.  There was frost on the ground and on my windshield.   Brrrr...  My toes are still defrosting.

Getting the boys up today was horrible.  Half didn't want to go to school.  Tyler isn't enjoying high school.  He is such an intense child.  It is so frustrating and yet heart breaking.  Life is so hard.  Stress and anxiety just over take him.  He worries so much.  Today he just didn't want to go.  Half the problem is that he doesn't really talk about his worries and stresses.  He doesn't share the woes of being him.  I realize that part of this is being a teenager but the other part is just him.   If I were to guess, I'd say that socially things are frustrating.  There is so much that happens in a day and despite how little it really is, when you are in it, it is huge.

I feel for him.  I know that being in high school is not easy.   For him, I know that he is going to shine.  It just might be after these four years of high school.  I am not sure what is floating in his head.  I wish I could know, so I could help or at least understand.

This child of mine has always been an old soul.  So while Sammy can laugh off the rudeness of his peers... Tyler is usually appalled by it.  He does not know what to do with it.  I am sure he feels as if he is on the outs looking in.  He is finding his friends changing.  He is my child that does not do well with change.

Then there is Josh... "I don't want to go to school."  Today, I think it was more about him being tired.  I was out last night, doing the hockey thing and gym thing with some of the boys.  Josh doesn't  go to sleep with out me well.  So, understandably he was tired.  A little bribery of candy in his lunch did help.  I keep worrying about how in the world he will be able to handle next year... Grade 1 all day?!!!  I am so that change will happen and  maturity.  I hope so, or else it is going to be miserable for everyone involved!

Glad so many of you enjoyed The Poning episode.  Max is hilarious.  He has a real sense of humor and it is so natural.  I am not sure what to say aside from my boys are very rambunctious.  There is something going on at some point.  There is a constant mix of personalities.  There is so much testosterone floating around here that it is no wonder I am forever needing a wax!

Yesterday I was getting gas in between picking up my high school crew and the elementary crew.  As I was paying for gas, this man looked at me and said, "Are they all yours?"  Mind you, I only had Sammy, Tyler and Josh.  "Yes, I said and that is only half of them."  Normally I wouldn't elaborate but I said, "I have six boys."

This man says, "Don't you guys have blankets in the winter?"  Of course it took me a minute to realize that he was saying... haha... and I said, " You aren't saying anything new.  I have heard it all."

Really?  What makes people say things like that?  A piece of me wanted him to feel dumb for opening his mouth.  I only had three with me and he thought that was a hand full.

I am always a little amazed at the freeness of a person's mouth.  I am the first to say that I am a pretty open person.  Yet there are things that I would not say or ask someone I didn't know.  Really!  Besides, what does blankets have to do with anything?

Oh well... I am off... Jordan forgot his project, gotta drop that off.   I told Tyler I would take him for lunch... which is in an hour... then I really need to go to the office.

I was begging Sanj to fire me... and he said, "You aren't going to find another job that pays you $1000 an hour."  Really?  Wow...  I guess I'd better go in.  Now... if it really was that much, I'd be in all the time!

It's Me... Back At Writing...

Did you miss me?  I missed you.  I am not sure why I haven't blogged in a bit except that life has been really busy and I was left feeling overwhelmed the last few weeks.

We went to Sanj's graduation, then to DC ... all which was great but required me to be organized and in this kind of situation, I tend to set unrealistic expectations for myself and am very upset if I miss that expectation.

It was very neat to be on a University campus again.  It was neat to see Sanj put faces to the names he had been "chatting" with the last years.

The song, "Pomp and Circumstance" always gets me.  It has such memories and symbolism.  It made me want to march down with a cap and gown on me.

It was special to have all his family there to celebrate.  The boys were great about sitting through the hours of names of graduates. They were tolerate of the pictures afterwards.

After grad, we followed my brother-in-law's GPS to eat supper at my happy place... Olive Gardens.   To get to this destination, we drove thorough all rough parts of Philly and saw life in the city.  Sanj kept bugging me to put my window up as scary folks were in very close vicinity to my open window.   It was a brutally hot day, the air in our van was broken and so we travelled in a sauna.  I felt that being pulled out of the van was a chance I was willing to take to keep my window open.  Besides, I had my hubby, who is travelling up the ladder of colors in his belts in Jujitsu.  I knew I was safe with his being beside me.

We were in Maryland, at my brother's house 3-4 hours later (thanks to traffic).
(I will write more about this in my next blog).

It was a very tiring trip back home.  Hot.  Very Hot. Everyone was very tired.  Being in our own bed felt so good!

We have all the end of the school year stuff to see through.  Being on the fundraising committee at school had me in charge of the Yard Sale.  This is not my thing.  If you read my blogs I have written in the past, you no this.  Ugh.  I hate going through other people's junk.  I feel dirty rummaging through the junk.  Yet, it was one of those cases that someone had to do it.  I was the one that seemed to be around and so I took it on.  Again it is about the expectation I put on my self.  I wanted so badly to raise a certain amount, (my goal was $1500... we raised $1388.66).  There was so much stuff left and had to be pack again.  There was not enough help.  I don't think that for the money raised and work involved, that it was worth it.  We will have to visit this discussion in one of our meetings.  I was so proud of my boys.  They were troopers.  The three younger ones woke up at 7 am and went with me and stayed the whole time.  The price paid for this was the junk that they felt were treasures.  Ugh.  lol.

My mom was here and was a great help too.  She is the Queen of Yard Sales.  Wow.  She was in heaven.  I think she shopped and browsed most of that time.  She kept asking me if I wanted this or that.  NOOOOO!   She found  a HUGE suitcase there and was thrilled so she could take back her treasure.

The quote of the day was, "One man's junk is just another man's junk." This profound statement was made by one of our teachers, Paul Voskamp.

Tuesday, we have a fun morning ahead of us... we are wanting the fine folks in Peterborough and area to see what they are missing by not being part of our school.  We have a morning of fun planned... story time, craft time, snack time, gym time.  It is going to be a great morning!  I am so looking forward to it.  The best part is that it is free!  :)  I have been praying about this day.  I feel it in my bones that it is going to be awesome!  I think we are going to have a big group of kids.  I feel God's hand in this whole thing.

So, as you can see, life has been busy and not leaving me much time to do the things I really want to do... such as blogging.  My mom has been back and forth between my house and my brother's.  She will be here till the end of June... to be here for Tyler's graduation.  While she has been here, the boys have been getting there fill of yummy Indian food.  My mom is a permanent fixture in the kitchen and laundry room while she is here.

This week is going to be a busy one too.  Yet I am going to get back into the habit of writing.  I have missed it.  I have missed your thoughts and comments... I love our special relationship!  :)

If you read this blog, today, come back and check out the pictures, I'll post tomorrow.

Strange and Wonderful All In One!

It's Monday and boy, let me tell you, my kids are SO ready for summer!!!  It was ridiculous how long it took for everyone to go off to the land of dreams.  My kids are usually  in bed early, compared to most folks.  Josh, 7 p.m., Zach, usually 7:30 is, Max and Jordan 8:30 p.m. latest  and then Sammy and Tyler are in by 9 p.m.  Of course there are exceptions but really this is something I am pretty anal about!  I know my boys need their sleep.  They play hard and so they need to be able to gather their fuel for the next day.

This morning was brutal getting them up.  How many weeks left?  Here's the thing, the remainder of the weeks are busy one!  Actually, they are VERY busy ones!!!  I think we have something every weekend.  Most of the things scheduled are for the school and a fundraiser of sorts.  Then there is graduation for my sweet Tyler!  Wow... that I am not ready for!  I won't go there today.  I need to focus.

I am home doing laundry, trying to get most of it done so that packing will be less of an ordeal. I am making a meal for a family that needs a break, of course my turns lands this week.  Hey, if you are going to be busy, why not be extra busy.  Actually, I didn't realize that this weekend was here so soon.  I thought that I had one week in between.  It's all good, though.

Thanks for all your comments and helpful suggestions regarding my cramps.  I found them very helpful and plan on looking into something effective before the next attack.

I had an interesting conversation with my mother-in-law last night.  It was just the two of us talking while I was getting supper together.  We ended up talking about funerals.  She was quite free with letting me know some of her wishes.  It was a weird conversation.  I am pretty sure this woman will bury us! lol

I really need to be off and get my mess in order... but before I go, here are some things the boys said to me these last few days.  I blog them to share because to me, they are funny.  I also blog them to remember down the road!

Josh:  "Mommy, you know when Jesus died, they put perfume on him.  How come?"
I respond with a mommy answer.
Josh: "Oh!  Did they put perfume on Michael Jackson too?"
This makes me wonder how his mind works!

Today because I was putter around, I put on jean cut offs and one of Sanj's tee-shirts.  I picked up the boys, gave them a snack and ran into the grocery store.  As I was walking to the van, apparently this was the conversation that was occurring in the van:

Max:  "Is that Daddy's tee-shirt Mommy is wearing?  (His brother agreed).  Max: "Well it will be kinda stretchy after Mommy wears it."  (Making reference to my boob-aciousness)!

Another one of my boys:  Mommy, do you want to know something weird?  My friends think you are cool!  That is so strange!"

Have I mentioned how much I love my boys?  They are so funny and crazy and smelly and loud and strange and fascinating and rock my world!  How did I ever get to lucky?

My Eulogy...

As mentioned, yesterday I went a funeral. It was the funeral of a 80 year old lady, mother to friends of ours.

I sat there listening to this lady's life and couldn't help but think of my life.  What would people say of me, when my time comes to lay in a casket?  How would I want my eulogy to be?

Is my life today one that I am proud of?  Do I love those around me enough?  Do my children, husband, family and friends know that my life is as good as it is because they have a place in it?

I want it to be said that I loved my God.  Do I live my live in such a way that it is obvious others know God is my best friend?  I don't know.  I need to work on that.  My love for God should be something that is shining thorugh me.  It isn't a secret.

I want it to be said that I loved my boys.   If I died today, will they say that I was the best mom I could be?  Probably not.  I need to work on that.  I need to learn to stop the worries of cooking and cleaning.  I need to learn to just be with them.  I am pretty good at that, I think, but I know I can be better.  Yesterday was a great example of this... Cooking with Jordan was delightful.  Messy? Yes.  Yet memorable... and fun.

I want it to be said that I loved my husband with a passion.  This isn't hard.  I do love him with all my heart.  He is the best thing that  has happened to me, so loving him isn't hard.  I need to work on the nagging.  Yet, I do this because I love him! lol

WIll it be said that I was the best daughter and sister?

Will it be said I was a good friend?  I hope so.  I do love my friends.  I love being with them.  I love them as they make my world a happier place.

I am sure I won't be known for my domenstic skills.  I am sure I won't be remembered for my love for cooking or cleaning.  I probably won't be remembered for my knitting!    Maybe I will be remembered for my love for shopping!  Maybe I will be remembered for loving to have a party.

(Funny story, when we were first married, I thought  I would make Sanj a pair of boxers for Valentines.  I was so excited.  I had a great Home Ec teacher and knew that basics.  I was so pleased with my efforts.  Until Sanj tried it on.  One of his legs couldn't even make it in the one side! lol This is where the thought really counted!!! )

As I wonder about my eulogy, (not in a morbid way), I hope that the life I am living is one that is pleasing to God.  I have things that I need to work on. It is something that I plan to make a conscious effect.

Have you ever thought of what kind of legacy you will leave behind?

Life with Sanj...

I am at "work" today.  I am supposed to be billing and other stuff but in the back ground is this babe screaming!  Oh my gosh, some sounds really do a number on me.  The sound of a screeching infant makes me want to run away.  Sanj does the infant screening for Peterborough at the office.  The mom is suppose to bring in a tired babe.  Sanj is then to put all these probe thingies on the babe's head and then he needs the mom to put the child to sleep.  It is a 50/50 kind of thing.  Often everyone is left frustrated.

When I am in line at the grocery store, and I hear a wailing infant, I feel myself taken back into time.  Suddenly I am standing in line, my toddlers are restless and  hungry.  The baby in the car seat is screeching that newborn cry that makes the breast hurt and my heart races wondering how I am going to make it through the next 15 minutes.  It was this kind of day that made me give up ever shopping at the cheaper, bag your own grocery store.  Sure I saved the money but at that moment it was more important to save my sanity.  The other store bagged my stuff and called a carry out boy to help me to the van.  You can't put a price on sanity.

I give up.  I take the file of work stuff and leave it on the desk, "I can't concentrate.  I will come in tomorrow."  This is one of the perks of sleeping with the boss! lol

Josh and Zach were suspended from school this morning.  The Health Unit did not have their records of their up-to-date vaccination.  I did turn it all in.  At least 2 times before.  Thursday evening I get the call that they don't have the dates from the first year.  This is Easter weekend.  Everything is closed.  Frustration.  My doctor's office is closed on Tuesday.  The boys think it is kind of neat to be suspended.  Breakfast with mom. Missing school.  It is all good.  Thankfully, the other doctor was able to help me out.  Suspenion over.  Back to school.

I had lunch with Sanj today.  He is so busy.  He is a self-professed workaholic.  By the time he is home, he is wasted.  Then he has the boys wanting "Daddy" and his homework is usually calling or he is off to a meeting.  So, often, I meet him for lunch.  He is still in his peppy work mode and I can have his attention for a few uninterrupted minutes.  He is a creature of habit.  Everyday, if he is alone, he goes to McDonalds.  He gets a Might Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken with a Diet Coke, no ice.  Did I say every day?  Yup!

The ladies at the drive thru know him.  They know that he will then park around the corner and eat his salad and listen to sports radio.  Today I joined him.  I got my grilled cheese happy meal with a toy.  My comfort food that I desperately needed today.  I was done my sandwich and he was still organizing his meal.  I looked at him.  "What are you doing?" I asked.

He is so cute to watch.  He knows he is a little crazy.  I love these silly little corks about him.  After he cleaned up, he looks at my 3/4 full Diet Coke.  I always leave my cup with drink still in it.  Sometimes the cup gets soggy at the bottom and leaks.  It drives him nuts, my half drunk drink.  I  look at him and smile.  "You are so lucky to have me!" I reply.

I drive him nuts.  The other day I drove the Denali bone dry.  OK...  it was late and in all fairness, I was tired and it was dark and I didn't realize it was so empty.  This vehicle is his true love, I am convinced. lol  I went out in the morning to start it and it refused.  Oh dear. I am in trouble now.
I intended to go get gas and put it in the truck before he found out.  No harm, no foul.  Time slipped away and I didn't.  I knew I was busted.

"Sanj, if I tell you something,  you promise not to lose it?"  I say.  He gets the look in his face that I am too familiar with.  "What did you do?"  I know he wanted to add, "now!"

Yikes, as  I told him, he gets flustered.  "The truck has a fuel injection thingy."  Oh dear.  I had no idea what that means but it can't be good.

Life with me is so special.  lol  This poor man.  How I love him!  I am so glad that he loves me too! lol!

A Question...

From one of my readers:

"... I agree with many things that you say (even though I don't have kids yet). I too need girls weekends and most of my girlfriends live in Toronto or back home (4 hrs away!). I have girlfrinds through my husband ...but its hard to make friends when you're in your 20s and older!

After reading your blog..my personal question to you is: How do you keep yourself happy with everyone always at hockey. You have it 5x harder than I do and I already feel like a hockey widow at times!

OH... I am so happy... a question! lol
Here's the thing, when Sanj and I were first married, I have to admit, it was a very hard year.
Many people will say that the first year of marriage is hard.  For me, it was for many other reasons...
Sanj and his brother owned a house together so the three of us lived together.  That was fine and fun for the most part.  Then a cousin needed a place to stay from England... that made 4 ... and was very hard on me.

I was such a different person when 15 years ago.  I was such a pleaser and wanted to be the perfect wife etc.  It took me a while to understand that change can't happen unless I state my unhappiness or opinions.

Aside from that, I had a very tight circle of girlfriends... in university, where we were always there for each other. It was such a special time.  After graduation, we all moved all over North American.  I moved to Canada.  Here I had no one.  It was a very lonely time.

Sanj had me yet he also had his sports (hockey, football and baseball), he had his music (which involved a singing group and playing for various venues).  He had work and had his family and a unit of friends that hung out.

He had his whole life here.  Me... I won't lie... I was very lonely.  This was before flat rate or internet was accessible to everyone.  We spent big bucks on phone bills as I stayed in touch with my friends and family.  I was lonely.

I am not sure what I would have done differently... because I was still finding me out.  I wrote... journaled a lot.  I read a lot.  I didn't have a social circle.  I wasn't confident enough back then to seek one out.

I remember when Sanj got a computer at his office, I would drive up to Peterborough and spend the day on the computer.  Microsoft Word was my friend.  I wrote and wrote.

I was so excited to get pregnant.  It was all I wanted... to be a mom.  I think I also felt that I would have someone just for me.  Of course, I don't recommend that motherhood is a fix to loneliness... but I was ready... we were ready.

Sammy rocked my world.  I loved him and loved being his mommy.
We got a computer at home and internet.  AOL was my reconnection into my life I was missing.
Sure I went to some of his games.  I was engaged in his life... but I can tell you that a huge part of me was missing.

We moved to Peterborough the year after and I had a house to care for and a baby.  Of course, now my mom lived with us.  There was always someone that lived with us for the first 5 years of our lives together.  That part was weird but I guess it is also who we were.  Our home has always been open to those that needed a place.

From this point... I was mom to many babies very quickly (by choice and planned).  I loved it.  I was still lonely as far as having friends.  I missed my friends so much.  There is nothing like having a best girlfriend(s) that you can just complain, share and chat.

I still miss those friendships.  Those friendships that you make from that time period in life are just so different than the ones you make later.

I didn't find fulfillment in girlfriends till the boys went to school.  There I found a place that  was for me as well as the boys.  Soon as the boys had play dates, I started meeting moms that soon became friendships.

It is the natural process of things, I suppose.

I tell all this to say this... when I was in my 20s, as is this reader asking the question... I was lonely.  I wish I was able to give you more than that ... but it is the truth.  It was hard for me to be in a new place and meet people.  In Peterborough, it may be easier... maybe finding a common thing.. the gym (I hear, lol, is a great place..., reading groups, take a class for fun, photography, church groups...

How I handle being a hockey mom and widow now... I have to admit, 85% of the time... I love and appreciate the quiet time of being home... yet usually it is never alone.

I can be honest and say that this year, I have been lonely.  With hockey, for Sanj also, his work, his meetings, coaching the boys and his (ugh) doctoral classes... I have been lonely.  We haven't' had the time to just be.  Yet, I know this is only a season.  Doctorate will be done in April... Hockey.. 5is weeks and counting!

This said, I could really use a girls night out.  That is when guilt takes over.  I really hate leaving the boys home, especially on the weekend.  That is my own issue, of course.  Yet I do really enjoy them snuggled on my bed on a Saturday night watching Hockey Night in Canada.

Loneliness is a part of life, I think.  Even when you are in the midst of people, you can be lonely.  The fix for loneliness is connection.  For me, anyway, I love people.  I feed off this.  I am at my happiest when I make a connection, though.  It is one of the reasons I love blogging.  I love the anonymous' that I connect with, I love connecting through this means.  For me

So.. maybe you are asking the wrong person.  I really do enjoy writing and watching a chick flick when time allows.  I appreciate Facebook that allows me to be in touch with so many of my friends from yesteryear.

So.. I guess in many ways.... I am a hockey widow still and always will be.  It is part of my lot in life. At the same time, as I watch them play, working it out on the ice... I am glad and grateful that this... hockey is a part of their world... as I know it could be so much other yucky stuff.

Does anyone want to chime in?

Happenings...

I had a pretty good day.  Not a lot happening (well, I cancelled the a lot happening part to keep my day reasonable).  I went into the office and did a bit of cleaning, made a mental note to hire a cleaning person for the office (the last one was let go...).

The afternoon was spent with Zachary and then it was time to pick up the boys.
The Rhema hockey team (which Tyler and Jordan) are a part of, have a tournament tomorrow in a town 1.5 hours from here.  So after school today, they had a practice.  So we went and hung out ... it was only an hour... how bad could it be?

Josh got into the van complaining of a tummy ache.  We went bathroom but only number one happened.
As we got to the rink, Josh told me his poop just came out quick.  LORD, PLEASE HAVE MERCY!!!
Here's the thing... I don't have anything on me.  Nothing.  This is the problem with eating peppers and veggies like a glutton.  Trust me, it was not pretty.  I was not happy.

I told him no fruits or veggies... only a banana... they back you up a bit don't they???
So, I lay waiting to see if this is the results of being a veggie monster or the beginnings of the stomach flu.
SIGH.

This weekend there is endless hockey...  Max has to be out of town at a rink by seven  in the morning Saturday.  Sanj and some of the boys have a tournament all day outside!!! Brrrrr... The temps have dropped  these last few days.  Tonight is going to be - 30℃ when you factor in the wind.  They are having the tournament on the canal by the Liftlocks.  Very cool... even cooler taking in the weather! lol

This isn't our teams but is where they willing freezing in the name of hockey and fun!

The cool part is that Hockey Day in Canada will be there to film some of it... that is very cool.
My sweet husband is going to freeze!!!

That leaves me to take Zachary to his game and do the running for hot chocolates and coffee!
Max has been invited to spent the night at friends...  God bless friends.  This is how bigger family manage at times, with friends.

I am just happy to be home... have sleeping boys keeping me warm and settling in for a Grey's night!
Anyone watch Private Practice?  It has gotten pretty good too!
Sanj is with Sammy running a hockey practice.  That man does not know how to say no or stay put!
Gotta love him, though!  Gotta love him!

The Enforcer!

My alarm is set to beep at six every morning.  Every morning I hit the button to shut it up.  Every morning we are running late.

Sanj is away for a few nights in Toronto doing a course.  When he is home, the boys know not to bother coming in our bed.  He will shoo them out.  Of course, Josh is immune to his threats.  On occasion, Zach will come in the middle of the night.  I woke up to 4 bodies smothering me!  My legs are cramped from not stretching.  My eyes are burning... from the lack of a good sleep.  My husband's presence makes him the enforcer!  Obviously me... I am a push over!

We did go to bed early.  I was asleep just after nine.  It was a busy evening.  Note to self:  Don't do everyone's haircuts on a school night by myself.

Today is a busy one too.  The older boys have hockey at 8:15 tonight.  Tyler has a high school open house before that.  Max has his speech rough draft due this week.  Zach will have reading and spelling words.  Tyler has a project he needs to complete.  Sammy has exams next week.  Did I mention Sanj is gone?

Aw... it is all good.  My sweet dear enforcer will be home in one more sleep!

S..L..O..W..I..N..G DOWN...

This day is one that I wish would not end too soon.  It's been a perfect kinda day.  I awoke to Josh begging me to get up because the sun was up and that meant it was morning.  Guess he doesn't understand that's what the blinds are for when you want to just sleep in.

I was sort of kicked out of the bed by three growing bodies that seem to take up all the space on our king size bed.  Sammy, Tyler and Max were all snuggled in their spots, snoring away.  I love watching them sleep.  As much as Sanj hates them in our bed, I love that they find peace and security there.

Zach was at his last day of hockey camp, Jordan was being dropped off at a friends and Max, at the last minute wanted to come with me, knowing he'd have a better chance at breakfast then home.

Zach had tears in his eyes as I met him.  Someone had crashed into him and he had a headache from hitting his head on the ice.  My poor little man.  He is such an amazing force of all boy.

We had to drop of the car at the mechanics, Sanj had a cancelation and so he picked me up and took us to lunch.  Yum... I love getting to have lunch with my favorite husband!

It was off to the bank to do a deposit and then we came home.

Still left is groceries, getting ready for friends over tomorrow... the boys all have a friend or two over for a New Years sleep.  So it requires me to be organized for many meals... not my strong point. :)

Tonight we are going out with friends for dinner.  Tyler is off to the movies with friends and Sammy is in charge!

I am longing for a nap.  That isn't going to happen... sigh.
My nephew is coming for a skate and perhaps a sleepover too.

This day ending means the rush of getting ready for New Years Eve, then welcoming the New Year and then it is back to school mode.  I guess that is my problem... the bottom line... I don't think I am ready for the new year.  I could really use another week at least!!!

I have a lot that I need to do in this New Year and that requires some soul work... and I am feeling  lazy, I suppose.

Sigh.   So, I am sitting here, hoping that the afternoon will go by at a grindingly slow pace.

A Full LIfe

Today was my aunt's funeral. Many of my cousins flew in from various places to pay their respects. My brother was filling me in on the day's events. Despite the occasion, it is the only time we all come together.

As my brother was telling me about the funeral and what was said about my aunt, I couldn't help wonder what would be said at mine.

What do you say when someone has not lived their life to the fullest of their potential? What do you say about some one that is mean or chooses to keep the world at a distance? Do people just make up stuff?

What will be said at my dad's funeral... what about my mom's?

What kind of a legacy am I leaving?

Just thoughts that have been running through my head... as one generation leaves this life one by one.

Do you ever wonder who will show up? Who will cry? What will they remember... what will their fondest memory be?

LIve each day as if it is your last.

Will you have live to the full potential that God intended?
